Friends of Dundee Heritage Trust

Dundee Heritage Trust has a Friends organisation of around two hundred members. Of these some thirty to forty are active volunteers assisting with guiding, administration and accounts work. Others work in the archives and collections areas and some are involved with the education programme. The Friends group also raises funds for the Trust and has a busy programme of social events.

As a Friend you are entitled to:

• Privileged year-round admission to Discovery Point, RRS Discovery and Scotland's Jute Museum @ Verdant Works
• Discount offers in the shops and cafes
• A copy of the Trust’s magazine Shuttle which is produced twice a year plus regular newsletters
• A standing invitation to a variety of social activities throughout the year
• The chance to actively help in the Trust’s exciting projects

Annual subscription is currently £10

Volunteers

Would you like to assist with the work of Dundee Heritage Trust?

New volunteers are always welcome at either Discovery Point or Scotland's Jute Museum @ Verdant Works. Guides and machinery operators are always needed so if you can spare just a few hours a week, are interested in history and would you like to share your enthusiasm with others please get in touch.
No experience is necessary as full training will be given.
You would be welcomed as part of our small team.
