Find out about intrepid polar explore Apsley Cherry-Garrard and ‘the worst journey in the world’ in this amazing multi-sensory storytelling session. Hear about Cherry-Garrard’s journey to a king penguin rookery in the harsh Antarctic midwinter, and his time on the coldest place on Earth. Intriguing props to handle and lots of joining in!

• This event does not include admission to RRS Discovery & Discovery Point. If you would like to visit the museum, you can buy tickets online up to seven days in advance or on the day from our lovely front of house staff.

• Tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded after purchase except in the case of a cancelled workshop/event.
